Omnia’s unique approach provides the best of both worlds: a traditional medicine background with a functional medicine doctor’s approach. We take all our training and experience – traditional medicine, functional medicine, and nutritional insights – and bring it all together. This is what makes us different – and this is why our patients get results. Working together as a team, our functional medicine and wellness practice will guide you to achieve the health and vitality you deserve.
Functional Medicine and Wellness Practice is centered around a biology based approach that focuses on identifying and addressing the root cause of disease.
Functional medicine focuses on patient-centered care, promoting health as a positive vitality beyond just the absence of disease. By listening to the patient and learning his or her story, the doctor brings the patient into the discovery process and tailors treatments that address the individual’s unique needs.
Functional medicine integrates traditional Western Medicine with the newest and best evidence-based data, creating a systems approach that incorporates lifestyle factors (nutrition, exercise, stress management, etc.) in an individualized plan.
Functional medicine focuses on prevention and treatment through lifestyle; the use of the latest laboratory testing and other diagnostic techniques; and prescribed combinations of drugs and/or botanical medicines, supplements, therapeutic diets, detoxification programs, and stress-management techniques.
We know there is a lot of information to discuss about Functional medicine. We are a passionate team and happy to answer any further questions you may have. Contact us here with questions.
We review your health history, current health concerns, and lifestyle. The better we get to know you, the better we can put the pieces together and create your personalized health plan.
We run in-depth testing so that our Omnia Health providers can gain a deeper understanding of your health.
Everything starts coming together and you will receive your personalized plan. Your plan will include recommendations such as nutrition, necessary supplements, relevant medication changes and lifestyle recommendations such as sleep, weight management, exercise and stress management
Dr. Jacqui Pariset founded her functional medicine practice, Omnia Health after working as a primary care doctor for over 10 years in a traditional, conventional family medicine office. Frustrated with the current system’s treatment approach – 15-minute patient visits and writing prescriptions – Dr. Jacqui became certified in functional medicine. This leading-edge approach to medicine enables her (and the entire Omnia Health team) to provide an in-depth, well-rounded approach to medicine that reaps results.
Backed by in-depth training and experience, Dr. Jacqui and her Denver practice, bring together the best of traditional medicine, functional medicine, and nutritional insights to uncover the underlying root cause of illness and meet patients’ health goals. Bottom line: Patients see improvement to their chronic health issues – and improvements to their overall health, wellbeing, and vitality.
Jacqui Pariset, MD, is also a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner through the Institute of Functional Medicine. Her emphasis is on applying a whole-person approach to uncover the underlying drivers of chronic and systemic illness.
In addition, Dr. Jacqui trained with Chris Kresser, L.Ac in Ancestral Nutrition and Functional Medicine as well as the ReCODE protocol (treatment and prevention of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia) through MPI Cognition with Dale Bredesen, MD.
When not treating patients, Dr. Jacqui reads copious medical articles to stay abreast of the latest data and medical insights. She enjoys cooking for her family, keeping up with her 2 daughters, staying fit with yoga and Orangetheory Fitness, and relaxing with her friends and family.

Gia began her health career in 1998 as a Registered Nurse. Her journey to functional medicine was prompted by her diagnosis of Hashimoto’s thyroiditis in 2009. Traditional medicine lacked the tools to answer why she developed an autoimmune disease. Utilizing lifestyle interventions and discovering root causes – key to the functional medicine approach – Gia has been able to minimize and reverse her symptoms.
Gia partners with patients to discover the underlying root cause of chronic illness, starting with a comprehensive investigation into their lifestyle and lab results. Typically, the emphasis is on gastrointestinal (GI) health, hormone balancing, and autoimmune diseases.
When not working directly with patients, Gia spends time researching mind/body approaches to healing, paleo recipes, playing with her goldendoodle Ollie, or spending time outdoors hiking, skiing, and having fun with her family.

I grew up outside of Chicago but the mountains were always calling. I moved to Colorado to attend the University of Denver 22 years ago and I have never looked back. I found my way into functional medicine after being diagnosed with Celiac disease and not being able to find any answers about why I was feeling so poorly. I turned to Dr. Jacqui and she inspired me to be a better person while helping me figure out my own health situation. Functional medicine took the blinders off for me and I hope I can do that for others.
Since my celiac diagnosis and change in my diet I have started a small business selling healthy gluten free granola and brownies. I have also studied mindfulness and how important it is to be present. As well, I have learned to dare greatly and face challenges head on. I would like to guide people through their challenges with empathy and warmth. I want to be available to people when it feels like no one else will even listen.
I have a lot of personal experience that I know would be very helpful to draw on while working with clients. I have a zest for learning new and improved ways to care for our bodies and change the way people live. I am a very motivated person and I feel that my energy and drive will help motivate others. I have a degree in communications which will help me to listen, really listen and to understand people’s fears, their challenges, their goals and their dreams.
When not working or studying you can find me in the kitchen cooking, gardening with my husband, watching my kids sports, skiing with my family, working out or on the tennis court. As well, my two kids and black lab keep me very busy.
